GENERAL GOALS
Acquiring the essential know-how for creating decorative paintings and trompe l’oeil destined for use in heritage decoration, furniture and scenography.
The techniques taught, as indicated module by module above, encompass all the applications of the profession which the decorative painter will have to satisfy.
PEDAGOGICAL METHODS
Explanation and presentation of the panels to be made “Step by step” explanation and demonstration of the definitive panels, with notes and photographs taken
by the students. Realization by the student step by step with follow-up and comments from the teacher. Finishing and protection of the decoration.
CONDITIONS
SINCE THE NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS IS LIMITED, THEY MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE COURSE.
STUDENTS WISHING TO APPLY FOR FINANCING WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF CONTINUING TRAINING MUST ANTICIPATE THE DEADLINE FOR THE DECISION OF THEIR APPROVED COLLECTING BODY (OPCA) OR THEIR COMPANY.
Every training course is led by Jean Sablé, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Expert métiers d’art near the Court of Appeal of Versailles.
Enrollments are reserved by mailing a deposit check of 25% of the amount of the course to the order of the Sablé School, and to the address below, 15 days at the latest before the beginning of the course.
Deposits are not cashed before the actual beginning of the course and are returned in case of cancellation.
The remaining amount must be paid upon entry into the course.
You will be sent a list of the material needed for the course by email as soon as the deposit is received.
Once the trainee has received this list, he/she will have the possibility to either purchase the material by himself/herself or to buy it from the school.
In this case it will be necessary to inform us in order to ensure the supply.
The canvases and/or other supports as well as the colors, mediums and varnishes are included in the price of the course.
