The Jean Sablé School of Decorative Painting and Trompe-l’oeil  is a Private Technical College that is registered with the Rectorat de Versailles under the number UAI 0783693R and supervised by the Ministry of National Education, Superior Education and Research. The school delivers a state-recognized level 5 professional certification (originally BAC+2 – BTS – Registered in the RNCP which stands for Répetoire National des Certifications Professionnelles).

By giving the School the name of its Founder, we want to establish a human dimension and a lasting relationship with our students at the core of the passing on of know-how. We are committed to the mission entrusted to us, and we are eager to ensure that our students get the most out of our courses.

We are fully committed to leading them to mastery with passion and confidence.

The lessons are given by Jean Sablé himself. The various stages of the work are carried out “step by step” and discussed in front of the students who then apply them under his guidance.

A progressive, tested and gratifying method similar to that of learning how to write allows each student to express themselves and create harmonious settings in both composition and colour.

The important “background” of models painted by Jean Sablé and continuously enriched, also forms a source of inspiration and emulation for the student, opening up paths towards contemporary creation.
