What are the prerequisites for attending the training program?

For certified vocational training, a high school diploma and a strong motivation are required. Experience in an artistic discipline is undoubtedly an additional asset. There are no specific prerequisites for short courses.

How do I enroll in the certified professional decorative painter training course?

Firstly, schedule an appointment by email or phone to discuss your project with Mr. [Name], visit the school premises, and see the completed decors to ensure that the training aligns with your expectations. Then, if you are interested and motivated, the training will be subject to a contract (Art. L6353-3 of the Labor Code).

How do I enroll in a short course?

After selecting a short course from the list, simply fill out the downloadable online registration form and send it to the school with a deposit check corresponding to 25% of the course fee. Receipt of your deposit will be acknowledged, and you will receive a list of the necessary materials for the chosen course.

Do I lose my deposit if I cancel my participation in a short course?

In the event of cancellation, deposits are refunded.

What is the cost of the certified vocational training course in decorative painting?

The price varies considerably from one year to the other, based on the number of training hours. The average duration of certified training is 900 hours, and the hourly rate ranges from 14 to 18 euros. The course is payable in seven installments at no extra cost (only for self-financing individuals). In all cases, a detailed quote is provided to candidates.

Can the certified vocational training course be financed by an organization, CPF, or the Region?

Yes, as it is a recognized qualification. However, there are restrictive conditions. Please consult us for more information.

How many students are enrolled per class?

Between 12 and 15.

What is the value of the diploma awarded by the school?

Level 5 (equivalent to BAC+2, BTS, DTU), recognized throughout Europe.

Is there an age limit for enrolling?

There is no age limit as long as you have no mobility issues, considering that the work involves standing for the entire day.

Can I take the course even if I can’t draw very well?

Yes, and we’ll take a very practical approach to drawing architecture, drapery, wood and marble. This is part of the program. We also use the Egyptian grid method and/or stenciling techniques used in the Renaissance.

If I miss part of a course module for personal or health reasons, how can I catch up?

For brief absences, it is possible to make up for lost time. Otherwise, students are systematically invited to join the following year’s group to learn the technique(s) they have missed.

Can I enter the workforce after the vocational training program?

Yes, that is the main objective. Four years after completing the program, 87% of school graduates work as decorative painters, either as employees, freelance artists, artisans, or performers (Source: France Compétences).

Are internships in companies included in the certified vocational training program?

If, after completing the training, you wish to gain experience in a company and find one independently, a tripartite internship agreement can be signed on a case-by-case basis
